High Plains Practical Shooters (HPPS) is an Eastern Colorado (Front Range) club affiliated with United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA). We use the Ben Lomond Gun Club in Ramah, Colorado which is located approximately 45 miles East of Castle Rock. (See the map located here on the website).

Our matches are held on the third Saturday of each month. Check our schedule for the exact dates and times.

HPPS provides an incredible opportunity to those interested in practical shooting. If you are bored with the normal gun range routine here's your opportunity to learn how to really shoot that handgun. Our monthly matches are filled with fun fast-paced shooting action.

The weather on the High Plains of Colorado is very different than the weather along the Denver Metro corridor; it is always cooler in the summer, but can be severe in the winter. Please check our website or the ECOUSPSA results email before heading out to one of our matches.
